iPhone 4s Cradle

Since I don't have any of the integrated sat nav options in my car (don't need nav that often) I'm going to start using my iPhone 4s on the few occasions I actually need to find somewhere. The free sat nav apps avalable for the iPhone seem good enough so I just need a holder so I can see the phone screen when driving.

Can anyone recommend a decent cradle? There are loads on Amazon but all have mixed reviews. Not sure if the air vent mounted options are any good or if the windscreen mounted ones are a better bet. Open to suggestions really?!

This one gets good reviews but is one of the more expensive options:

Same story with this one:

Have a look at Brodit they have custom designed brackets for most cars and custom holders for most gadgets
Ihave one in 120d holding a Garmin and one in Z4 for my iPhone
Not cheap but good quality and discrete
Got mine from these guys

I got one of these...

Does the job at a fraction of the price

Thanks for the opinions guys.

Not so keen on the BMW option cos I'm not bothered about it connecting to the car - it already allows me to make calls via bluetooth which is all I need. I don't know the price but I can guess I'd be paying a lot for functionality i don't need.

I'll take a look at the Brodit products and have another look on amazon/ebay. I'd probably be just as well getting something like tom_ekn suggests first... It's only £2.89 so haven't lost much if I decide I don't like it.

Cheers.
