guess i never really did a proper intro.... so, long time petrol head, my first love was motorbikes, in fact i never had a car till i was 32 :o and finally popped my cherry with a mark 1 mr2, think ive owned over 50 bikes and currently own a fairly heavily but tastefully modified imho 1999 hayabusa. Had her from 2 years old so 14 years now, she's taken me safely on a few European tours and to most corners of the uk, always fires up at the first whiff of the button and has passed every mot without a single advisory she is the epitome of ruthlessly efficient japanese engineering, she's a keeper :D have taken her to the strip a few times she took me into the 200mph club when one year at Woodbridge we were blessed with a lovely 18mph tail wind (previous best was 191.2)

My other toy is a gsxr750 track bike which i built up myself from a cat c bike, I love tinkering in the garage and have also built 3 choppers as winter projects, i love choppers but dont seem to get as much pleasure actually riding them
Most happy when im at the track and forunate to live between what i think are 2 of the best in the country Anglesey and Oulton, also get down to Donington a fair bit and Silverstone on the odd occasion. Euro wise been out and ridden Portimao twice and Almeira once, would like to add Assen, Le mans, Aragon and Misano to my to do list.

Looking to maybe do a day or 2 in the zed next year as I'm yet to take a car on track so looking forward to next season for some 4 wheeled thrills...Enjoying the forum and look forward to catching up with some of you on a meet sometime in the future.... Other shizz... i buy to many adidas trainers.. over 80 pairs at the minute... i get tattooed a lot, must stop that shits expensive lol I also have a job, wife and child.... oh and i also have a honda accord 2.2 tdci as my daily drive but wont bore you with any of that nonsense  ... a few pics to ease the burden of reading through this waffle

Wow, like that write up mr tourette. From the brilliant Hayabusa (remember them blitzing the 1/4 mile when they first hit the Run What You Brung) to building Choppers - you'll find there's quite a few motorcyclists and ex bikers with Zeds. Can't relate to the trainers mate (it's a generation thing  ). Looking forward to hearing how you get on, on the track with the Zed.

Thanks for posting (and the photos too) Nice one

Welcome, love the bikes, and a great write up. The chopper in photo 5 looks great

Exile kit bike from the states... looks beautiful.. was the most god awful motorbike ive ever ridden, on tickover it sounded lovely, as soon as u opened it up it made your ears bleed and it handled like an asda shopping trolley with a wonky wheel... sold after 157 miles  was great fun building it tho

Shame it had to go after the time spent building it. Did u import it as a kit, or built from purchased parts?

the rolling chassis was imported as a kit, then other parts from the exile range could be included to build to your own specification to create your bike as a one off

Welcome Mr tourette you got some nice machinery the Busa looks a beast and the chopper looks great as well  im like
you in that I like my bikes and adidas trainers although I dont have anywhere near 80 pairs. I went to Daytona bike week this year I see some amazing choppers there is some pictures on page 3 of the Image thread
