The Intravee does not 'code' anything, it can control things but it does not code them in the way that, for example, INPA does.
Generally, the Intravee can't stop things happening, it can only make them happen - I you can see the difference! So the Intravee can't stop the monitor coming up - which it does whenever you change track as the radio displays the new track information and this triggers the monitor to come on. It would be possible to have the Intravee lower the monitor again, but this might put too much stress on the monitor mechanism.
