Intravee UI Help and Setup

Hi All,
I've managed to install my Intravee just yesterday. and it was working great.....
Now curiosity had the better of me and i couldn't get the advanced search to work. So i tried changing the UI. i know i shouldn't have messed with it, but i did and now it's set to UI 1
Is there anyone around the north London area who might be able to
a) help me set the UI back to 5 or 6? ( i don't have the software just yet or laptop right now)
b) set the damn thing for advanced searches??
Any help this week or next would be welcome!

You can actually change the UI preference with a special key sequence.

Yes, use the key sequence, that works fine. I put my unit for someone else to test on a UI1 as well, and simply put it back to UI6 using the keys.

I'll give this another shot, but i was under the impression that, once the UI was set via the headunit, It can't be changed back without a PC?
Wll try it anyway.

OK i managed to resolve this problem but not in the usual manor.....

Looks like i had the same issue were I would see the CD9 appear but was unable to change tracks to set the UI. :?

"I have the same problem with my Z4 Coupe. It was "kind of" working but my menus would flash (did it lots with the TP menu) and sometimes I would lose the playing now menu. So i decided to try to reset the UI(without a laptop and by turning it off, on <> etc), bad move. Now I just get CD Check. I have the CD9 thing and a list of CD1 to CD6 but I can't change or select anything. Its all locked out. The thing is I know I'm going to have to rip out the unit, find the serial number, email you for the download area, wait and then re flash it"

So i have a work around which worked for me. once in the UI setup, press the 'select' key then choose 'random' After a few tries the UI set itself from 1, then 4 then 1 and now it's back on 6. problem solved

You must have a fairly old software version if you still have the flashing issue. That is if you have that issue of course ...

I have a flashing issue where it will occasionally flashs to a cd1... To cd6 screen before returning to the intrevee options. Which it has always done and I am runnIng the latest firmware.

I should clarify, i didn''t have the flashing issue, just the IU problem where i'm wasn't able to select the correct UI, i was quoting from another forum post. Overall i'm pretty chuffed with the introvee, it does everything that i want it too.

Now where do i find that advance featured menu??
