Intravee serial number?

Hi I just got a second hand intravee and kca 420i. All working perfectly but I'm looking to update the unit as it's old but I can't find the serial number and it's required to register to get the software

Just wondering if the serial no is only supplied when new?
Or equally likely am I being thick and missing it?

It should be on the unit itself. Has it rubbed off or something?

or email them that you dont have a serial (which is what i did as i didnt want to uninstall mine) to be given a forum user id; to be able to dl the latest version.

The lastest software version allows you to get the serial from within the menu.

not sure exactly think it may be a really old unit as on the website the pic shows some text at the bottom right of the label but its not there on mine. its not rubbed off i dont think cuz the rest is clear

ill contact them and see what they say.
