Intravee II issues

I have a Intravee II and Alpine KCA-420i in my Z for a bit of music, and all of a sudden it's stopped working. I've tried to contact toysinyourcar.com (from where I purchased it) with no luck, so thought I'd ask here.

I've done the usual re-connect it all and the display shows the iphone connected, but I just get static, no music at all. I can't think what else to do!

Anyone offer any advise? And if it's kaput, is there a newer alternative?

What firmware version are you using?

The same happens with 2 iphones. They are the new style adapter though. I had an old iPod I'll dig out, so I can remove the adapter.

Firmware is the one that I updated when installed in 2017, so old. I will look into flashing it...

Turns out it had 2 cables disconnected :?

Flashed the firmware whilst I had it all out, has fixed an issue with full beams staying on when I flash them too!
