intravee and lightning iphone

Right chaps, am sure this is an easy one!

I have an intravee kindly fitted a few years ago now by some of the forum's finest.

I have an iphone 8, and when I connect it via the 32pin to lightning adapter (apple genuine one), it plays perfectly but doesn't charge.

If I use an old ipod classic, it charges and works just fine; aside from it is too old to stream spotify lol.

What am I missing, do I have the wrong adaptor, do I need a new cable?

Cheers!

Is it as simple as this?

One end of the intravee cable into this, the other end then into the 30pin to lightning adaptor, and then finally connect to the phone (assuming there is any space left in the cubby lol)

Thanks, think that was the brand I remember reading about, but they don’t appear to sell them anymore.

Fingers crossed
