I wondered if anyone had any ideas or experience with this problem:
After 2 weeks holiday I started the car to find a misfire on several cylinders with the engine management light on. Hooked it up to INPA for a basic diagnostic and it reports misfires on cylinders 3 and 4. I cleared the faults and the misfire immediately stopped and the car ran perfectly ever since. Now very intermittently it will start with the same misfires (although on varying cylinders) and engine light but clearing the fault codes immediately resolves the issue.
The car is running on a new set of spark plugs, has been recently serviced and is kept in a garage for the majority of its life. Other than these misfires it runs perfectly smooth and has not had any other issues at all. It has been incredibley wet recently and I am wondering if it is something as simple as the damp weather. Is it possible that the fault code could be causing the misfires? :S

Any ideas appreciated!
