I have an unusual problem on my 2004 Z4, 3.0, 80000 miles, automatic.
No problems until an intermittent, hot engine, start problem. Every 5-10 starts when restarting the engine the engine fires but has no throttle response at all, the dash lights come on, and the engines lopes between 500 to 1500 rpm. If you let it cool down, 4-6 hours, it will start and run perfect. We cleaned the throttle assembly but it still continues. Can't predict it. Feels like a fuel pump but the tech. didn't think it was. HELP. Great car.
