Intermittant Wheel Wobble?

Hi Chaps,

Got a weird one, My E85 3.0 has on three occasions now developed a wheel wobble, that then goes away again on it's own :?

Had all four corners jacked up, and nothing is loose. Tyre pressures are all consistent, 2000mile goodyears all round, wheel nuts torqued correctly, no missing wheel weights.

The bit that stumps me is its self-curing nature. Last night it developed a wobble getting on to the M69. Two mile later at 60mph, it had cured itself, and no speed between 50mph to 90 mph would recreate the issue.

Anybody experienced anything like this? Could it be the fabled electric steering rack motor?

Cheers

surely you mean "to 70mph"

Get the wheels re-balanced

Disclaimer : All testing done on private runway.

Surely if it was wheel balancing, it would be there constantly at the same speeds though?

Few hours of searching on here suggests it could potentially be a sticking caliper?

Place your hand on the wheel,if you find one is hotter than the others it would indicate a sticking caliper.
