Interlagos with Black Wheels??

Just seen this advert and really like the look. What's everyone's thoughts on Interlagos with black wheels, or perhaps a darker colour like gunmetal\graphite?

I already have the matt black grills and really fancy this, but unsure if it would make the car more difficult to sell, what's your thoughts on this? Would it put you off?

It's obviously a great looking car. That's the starting point. It looks a beauty.

But speaking as someone looking to get into a z4 in the next few months, I do find that too many mods are off putting. I'm afraid that wheels that have been changed would stop any serious interest from me. Of course this is purely a personal opinion & others will take a different view. Perhaps prospective buyers would prefer to make their own mods from a blank canvas & that's at the root of my thoughts.

I've seen a few e85s & e86s with lots of mods that have been for sale for quite a while. Whereas those without substantial changes shift pretty quickly.

If you decide to sell, I wish you good luck with the sale. I'm sure it'll be snapped up by the right buyer. :?

With the black wheels you limit your target audience primarily to the 18 - 25 group or so, which therefore might affect your resale chances.

I think black wheels is a bit marmite for most people, however a well done gunmetal grey is different enough from stock but not too extreme that it would put a large proportion of people off

It's a taste thing though

You could be onto something there. My S2000 had gunmetal wheels which I loved the contrasting look with the red paint. However I never thought black looked right and probably wouldn't of bought one already black.

Need to lookup some gunmetal and interlagos pics now :)

Never been a fan of black wheels. And yes, will limit re sale potential

I think silver suits interlagos blue really well

Mine is more or less identical and I think looks way more menacing. I had matte black on but have just had them redone in gloss black and it looks superb!!

think that looks absolutely ACE...... interlagos REALLY pulls of black wheels better than any other colour imo, if i had an interlagos car, it would have gloss black wheels... perfect.

I am a lover of high gloss black alloys but only on the right body colour , silver or grey paint especially suits black but the interlagos also work,s for me :)
From past experience however it does limit your sale audience

Not a bad looking car, think the black wheels would look better on another colour really.
The car in the OP has 3 different types of tyres fitted mind!
