I think it looks better in the flesh, really hard to capture the interior 'feel' in the pictures but it all seems to be right. The light surround and dash plate tie in with the centre console and I have the tri colour M wheel that ties in with the gators.
Sounds daft but looks REALLY good at night, much more of a cockpit feel.

The carbon fibre was the trickiest bit but that's to do with shape of what I was wrapping. As long as you get some decent Di Noc 3M stuff, it's easy to work with and you get enough to do loads for about £25 on eBay.
The only reason I decided to use Alcantara for the aluminium bits is that they get quite hot in the sun and don't think wrapping them would last. That said I am really glad that thought led me to the Alcantara - it's a lovely material

I'm pretty sure the original owner of my car was a woman as it has the telltale nail marks in all the right places, in particular the soft touch coat over the plastic around the shifter. Can you get a closer photo of your carbon wrap in that area, it's exactly what I was thinking of doing.

The Alcantara you have found should be fine size wise, I bout this 280859969775 from eBay which is 1m by 1.4 m and I have loads left, will take a pic of the surplus later as well

It was your wright up that stopped me doing the whole thing in carbon
You wrapped the aluminium as well didn't you? I assumed that your latter post saying 'don't do it' was referring to the aluminium as we all know it gets HOT!
Any pics of the sprayed sections?
As for getting the Alcantara wet, I have no plans of doing so! It was water ingress that led to this project and a trying couple of months. That said I can't see any problems if it did get wet.
I got the idea of using Alcantara from a previous car that was FULLY trimmed in the stuff, great material
