Interior LED upgrade

I perked up the interior lighting with a pair of the Gofzilla LEDs (D-185C-W / 18 SMD 5050) from automationled.com

Apologies for the photo quality...

Each panel measures 6cm x 3.5cm and has a sticky back plastic pad which needs to be removed before use.

The LED looks like this:

Fof the boot (this is for coupe only, I think the roadster has a different fitting) you need to use a hacksaw to cut away the black plastic ridge so the bottom of the lense is flush, then wedge the LED in:

Not a perfect fit but the lense does stay in the boot thanks to the clip in the lense fitting and only on very close inspection would you notice. You could cut the boot trim for a perfect fit I suppose.

With the LED fitted:

For the front seat lighting you can carefully slide the panel between the clear plastic lense and the black body:

Results in the following:

Footwell lights upgrade did not make too much improvement since the main light is soo bright, I really wouldn't bother.

I really like the improvement, not to everyone's taste I know but I recommend it as a cheap mod. Photos do not do it justice!
