Any advise on this one
My drivers side door lock release latch has suddenly become SLOPPY and does not return back fully.
The door however does open and close as normal.
Don't believe the (bowden)cable could have suddenly stretched overnight ??
This is a guess, but I would imagine there's a spring in there somewhere at one end, thus it doesn't spring back, sorry not a lot of help, where are you based a good indy would diagnose easily if no one on here has had this issue

Will have to strip the door to see what's happened.
Weeks down the road now and still the same, was expecting it to snap or something so been lucky,obviously has some spring or so as you suggest.
