As a result of Tonym alerting me ,I discovered that the roof fabric when folded frets against the rubber seal which runs round rear lip of roof storage space space
Tony only has the issue on one side ,I have if on both .
Whilst the folded hood is fine across the width of car with a decent gap just as the rubber seal curves round the seal is rubbing against a small section of fabric
There is a roughness on the seal and on one side fabric is through to the warp thread of fabric ,other side on it's way both,identical position
I could only detect it in bright sunlight
Contacting Dealer to see if the hood can be adjusted forwards slightly to relieve the point of stress
Worth checking as it is very easy to miss and if left will possibly ruin fabric and thanks to TonyM for alerting me
