Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of this? I think my starter motor is starting to go and was planning on taking it off and having a look/lubing it up. Only problem appears to be that to remove the starter motor on the N46 engine you need to remove the intake manifold (according to the TIS). Has anyone tried this and is it easily manageable by someone with minimal car maintenance experience?
