Could have been another nail in the Z coffin from mrs w's point of view but renewal arrived today for the 27th dec .
just happy it was not a killer
£500 F,Comp with classicline / 5k / 2 drivers / euro use included . seems like a lot for a garaged weekender doing 2/3k a year but at least its not ridiculously high.
if any folks have some others for me to try i,m happy to give them a go

I got mine with Aviva ... didn't expect them to be cheap but paid far less than anyone at all else offered!

should have mentioned . as its a third car no NCD to offer although this isn,t required for classic car policy's .
so no point trying mainstream search engines with no bonus to offer

Just looking at changing my insurance over to my new car to see the cost implications, current insurer AXA, wont cover my new car unless it's fitted with a tracker :o

......however they have been happy to insure the Zed which is probably easier to steal

Are you a BMW car club GB member? They knocked an additional £30 off mine (down to £433 on 5k a year mileage)

I got a good deal from MoreThan when I had no ncb due to having a company car for eons.

My past two years quotes have been around the £800 mark so I was very surprised this week when axa came up with £490 all in, for exactly the same amount of cover I have had on previous polices. Oh Yeah I am 35 and have a shocking postcode in Liverpool. :)

i went from an 03 2.2 vectra to the Z and my insurance co ( tesco ) wanted to double the monthly premium from £25 to nearly £50 :o i did a confused.com search and got a new policy for £310 per year with the halifax, £28 per month and key safe included. :D

Im with Esure on the M.....

£416 Fully Comp, protected NCB for me and missus, she has a fault claim 3yrs ago which loads it by £40 odd quid...

Get an ///M, it will probably drop by £100. Mine did with CL when I swapped from my 2.5si

Eh? Classic line are my favourite insurer. Not only because I can speak to a human straight away but because their premiums are ludicrously low. Mine fully comp at 28 is less than £500 on a Z4C. I think they're ace. So efficient too. I used them for my 993 originally and that was even cheaper. I almost laughed when she told me the price.

Livingtones Warman beat Classicline for me recently. They were very easy and pleasant to deal with too.

Respect to the double denim clad ricicle for naming them in a post on here otherwise I would never have found them. :D

bit more good news today on the insurance front ,
after Adrian Flux beat the classicline quote classicline came back to me today with a £450 take it or leave it offer . , , which i,m gonna take
plus ive decided the SORN won,t work for me cause the Z is my weekend treat for doing 1hr15mins commuting into Bradford every day
just got the MOT next week then some roadtax at the end of dec & all's well . . . .. apart from my wallet :x
