its insurance time again, but rather than how cheap i can get it how about what jokes have you had this year getting it.

so today with 11yrs no claims no acidents etc hastings gave me a quote for ~3.5K... :D but i could pay it in easy convenient installments of 325 quid after the deposit. this still doesn't eclipse our preferred forum suppliers whos underwriters wouldn't insure in Liverpool and who's 2nd underwriters didnt do Z4's but thats a different story

BMW sent me a Quote for when my renewal is due as part of their free 7 day insurance when you buy a new car........it's the grand total of £3857.69 and I have 180 to accept their quote. Think I'll pass thanks! Considering it only cost me £58 to change from a 120i to a 35is for the remaining 6 months left with my current insurer.

Sometimes I wonder how any companies get any business. Do they just pluck figures out the air???

Lol not sure if you have sorted it yet but I'd advise calling green light and sky insurance, cheapest I was quoted on any compare site was £1700 with only 2 NCB, sky quoted me £560 and greenlight £629,

nice... :) its not due till later this month so time to look.

insurance is infuriating. i was at some training the other week and a couple of phd students so 22/23 driving a brand new focus st with 0yrs no claims and it was only about 300 quid anyway i did say no talk of how cheap... :D

Its just a way for them to say we dont want to insure you, but if you're stupid enough to accept it as a ludicrously over inflated price then sure why not.

I've been quoted over £7000 numerous times, waste of your time and theirs especially with all the stupid repetition of information required. They all boast about having all the information on one central database yet dont use it. I wonder why..
