Insurance help!

Thought I'd add my own recent experience as it's always good to hear about insurance companies when they do something well. Was with More Than on a multicar fully comp policy for both my Z3M and our family Mk4 Golf.

After some dedicated shopping around I managed to save £85 by going to Direct Line via the website and then calling them up. Previous quotes from them were insane, so it was a surprise to hear the discounted numbers they were quoting - £222 for the Z3M and £238 for the Golf (London postcode, 43 yo, 3k mileage on Z3M, SP30)

Adrian Flux were not able to beat the MoreThan quote and Classicline quoted me £543 for the Z3M alone?! Privilege looked pretty good too.

wow! London, under £500!? AND with SP30? mental.... Thats direct line right? I'll be calling them next time then!
 
Yes indeed. I couldn't believe it myself! Decided to do things properly this time. Direct Line were a punt that paid off. I do have 10 years NCB on the BMW and 3 on the VW, but still a good price. Good luck!

I wish! Nope, I'm in SE3 so not even a W part of London
