Insurance declarations

For about 15 years I was insured by a Lloyds company (Paladin) eventually owned by Wren, i think.

Their policy was no change until renewal, so no matter if you bought a higher or lower group car, there was no adjustment in premium until next renewal. (No admin fees either). That was from 1990-2005-ish. Brilliant !

That would suite a Mr Wilks, he would start the year with a 1.1 Fiesta, have a few Ferrari's in between and end up in a 1.1 Escort by the end of the year

Sadly most insurers rape you for any changes to the policy. I'll be prepping my car for sale soon, and will get stung £25 admin fee for removing my private plate, and no doubt get another £25 fee for changing vehicle. All that to add to the already extortionate £760 premium  F**kers.... :x
What ya getting next?

Dunno yet. Looking at lots. Not really deciding much

Something with 4 seats. Reasonably quick, and comfortable for city driving.

Options include:
New Golf R / GTI or Mini Cooper S
Used Golf GTI, 335/335d/330/330d

But, need to sell the zed first. Haven't even decided if I'm doing that yet. Although 99% sure I will.

Whoa controversial! How can you!? Bubble wrap it and stick it in a garage until you're 65 then sell it as a pension boost
