Installing bluetooth unit in trunk GROM BT3

Hi all,

First post on this forum. I recently bought an 06 3.0si with japaneese satnav, and it has the premium 10 speaker system with cd changer and was trying to install the GROM BT3 unit into the back of the trunk.

I was looking for the three pin and six pin connectors which plug into the GROM unit but I had no luck. Their YouTube installing video did not have a CD changer I believe and had a tiny hole where the wires were tucked into.

Do you guys think I need to remove the CD changer unit to get access to those wires? :headbang:

Any help is appreciated :)

Cheers

Welcome to the forum .
I might be wrong but I'm fairly sure the connectors you're looking for are actually plugged into your CD changer  .

Have a look at my ‘installing Grom BT3 in E85’ thread. It’s in the Audio section of E85 ‘How To’.
The connectors you need are indeed plugged into the CD player- you have to disconnect them and connect to the Grom.
Hope this helps
