Insp. II how much is too cheap?

Does it have a receipt And breakdown of work
INS2 450 sounds very cheap.

Valve Cover Gasket Set (Valve cover gasket, Spark plug seals, Nut seals, Grommets & Copper sealing washers)
Diff Oil Service
Gearbox oil
Engine oil
Micro Filter
2 copper washers on the oil return line and a general inspection of the vehicle ??

How to video on valve clearances, it is not hard to do just takes time ( I am an engineer) when done using the BMW tools it is a YES or NO fit if you measure the clearance it is 0.008" on the inlet and 0.012" clearance on the exhaust. The fiddly bit is changing the shim if required.
Would suggest that if the clearance was a thou or two big it may not be adjusted (normal A4 printer paper is around 4 thou thick to give you an idea)
When I do mine I will spend the time getting them all right but as you can see it will take some time (and there is the cost if you are paying for time)
So if the garage that did the Insp 2 just did a quick YES NO check on the clearances it could have been done but at that price I don't think any adjustment where made.

Valve Clearance should be checked at ins1 & Ins2. They may not have needed adjustment. Mine have never been adjusted. They should have been recorded though. If the car is otherwise good and not sounding chattery, then you could get them checked after purchase, for peace of mind.

ForzaGB do S54 inspection 2 with valve clearance for £589 Inc. Thara about as cheap as I've seen at reputable independent.
