Hi All

Not got the car yet, but like to get my mods in before I collect the car. 8)

Have seen the Gruppe M one but at £630 it's a bit priccy

What other one's are out there? :?

Cheers

None that will give any noticeable improvement, and definitely not worth the money unless you just want something that looks different.

Yeah I know they are all crap! My Standard air box is broke so just want to replace that. Was hoping to kill 2 birds with 1 airfilter.

Hello to all.

Have just joined and noticed your induction ?? My Z4M C goes into evolve for several mods mid Oct and will pass on any Gr M airfilter info. Agree with others I don't expect any gains from it but rolled in with all the other mods it may be positive.

Carbon fibre roof.
Flash tune
Manifold back exhaust.
Gruppe M filter.
Front AP brakes.

Hello again.
Cheers.

Yes coming soon. Stuck on Oil Rig with P poor internet speed but will sort.

Yes had it done about 6months ago. I often do Newcastle to Plymouth so Cruise fittment got rid of the "My right foot" episode. It cost £325 which included the OEstalk. Easy fit on the other z4's but not M series, this guy in Newcastle(ExBMWTech) cracked it.

Also for that long journey found a modern version of the seat belt "clip lock" ideal to keep the seat belt off your neck.

Cheers.
Dave.

That is interesting about the OE retro cruise, as it was a definate no-no by the dealer. It even affected some second hand values of cars that did not have it.

I ordered it with my car, but I think for others that don't have it, it would be an interesting project.

Wow. :o How did he do it? I wish I had cruise control on my M for the long trips.

Hi.

The cruise install required a connection to the databus as there is a pin out missing if not ordered from new. It took him the afterrnoon and even included the lower plastic trim swap :) Have used it several times at night and on long trips and worth the money.
Am getting the car flashed tuned soon and I remember on my 3lt si the same tune resulted in worse fuel consumption so the cruise should help out.

The grill is from the 3lt si of the same colour thought it looked ok. Since that pic i've had the original sprayed sparkling black the same as the e46 M3 body and it looks wee bit better than flat black plastic of the original.

Next week i can get better details of the cruise install and will fwd on .
