Indoor (Garage) use car covers for £100ish ?

I've decided to SORN my Zed at the end of October for the winter. I've got a couple of jobs to do between now and the end of the month including replacing the cam cover gasket and giving the bodywork a clay, polish and wax before putting it into storage. Fortunately I have a 20 meter drive so I can move it every few weeks and push the fluids around. When that's not being done I'd like to keep the dust and general crap off the car with a decent value indoor car cover.

Are there any tried and tested covers for £100ish (less is better) that can be recommended please?
I'd like it to have a nice lining so as not to scratch the paint.

Or even Egyptian cotton - very soft!

Was hoping to hear from people who have one already.

Oops, sorry if my post may have seemed less than helpful OP but then I'd love to still have a garage! :)

But when I did have one I never needed an elasticated cover for it to remain in place. Cotton will breathe and won't scratch so worked well enough for me - do you have a wind problem?

omg i have had a few beers and you ask him if he has a wind problem.. not fair now my belly is hurting from loling to much..

Also. cotton sheet is easy to wash :)

is 1 cotton bed sheet big enough? I would have thought even a king size would be too small?????
 
I have a cover that i got from Hamilton Classics many years ago it has seen me good service on 3 different cars now. Ideally you want a breathable one

The same covers may be available cheaper elsewhere these days, the internet wasn't as big a deal when i bought mine it was adverts in the back of classic car mags then

Haha well phrased! In all honesty yes, opening the main door and the back door at the same time on wrong day can cause a big draft. I used a bed sheet on the car for a week when we had some building work being done during the spring this year, it worked ok until anyone goes in the garage. It slipped off the car too easily if you brushed passed it which means it picks up dirt from the floor etc etc... OCD on my part but there you go.

The Amazon one looks great for the cash, and it's breathable. Will probably order that tonight after a few beers when I tend to me more trigger happy with internet shopping. Thanks.

It is just the job for keeps garage dust and bits of the paint work. The medium size is a good fit for the car. It is silky smooth and breathable.

This fits well enough for a cheapo, especially if it’s just an indoor dust cover. Elasticated with straps.
