Indicators repeaters yuk

I am thinking of removing the horrible side repeaters on the wings of my Z4MC and replacing them with some thing like say a carbon style bonnet badge, Has anyone fitted any thing in place of there repeaters and what do you think my idea would look like, Or is it me being draft and the standard ones look OK.
 
Standard are part of the Z4's looks and IMO it would be a mistake to replace them. I have seen elsewhere on this forum, a different design by another company but I'm not a fan of those to be honest.

You could do the other mod by reducing the height of the lens by half so they don't stick out so far.
 
try an ac-schnitzer stockist .............. I believe they are monumentally expensive and to be honest for me totally wreck the signature Z on the side of the Z4.

others have replaced the bmw logo on the indicator with CF roundals - keeping the turn signal behind it ... this can look quite good provided all the other badges are changed out.

Yes. Those are what I meant. IMO - no where near as good as the originals..

most probably not the side repeaters as most cars don't even have them in the first place.

Think you will find it a legal requirement on all cars since around 1985-7 IIRC.

I think they do when you look. If they dont have them on the front wing they will be integrated into the wing mirror.
 
As above think if they are fitted they have to stay fitted and would be a good get out for insurance if you had a prang.

Someone on here has reduced the thickness of the clear plastic as said above and looks good but not sure if this could cause probs come claim time
