Indicator/Roof problem

Was just thinking (stupidly) today that we've had the car nearly a year and all has gone perfectly apart from the rocker box problem which you lot diganosed for us. Until now
Soo - when the roof is down, the passenger rear indicator doesn't work. When the roof goes up, it works again. It's taken until today in Scotland to get a warm enough day to put the damn roof down  Is this a known problem or does anybody have any ideas onnit?

Could it be that the roof when its closeing it is somehow pulling the wire loom to the rear indicator and there is a damaged or broken wire in that loom and when the roof is closed is not being pulled and so the wire is still just touching to make the circuit.

  Snot my car. Husband's car. Husband's garage bill. Husband's problem. I'm just the secretary/cook/maid/gopher/nurse/cleaner/gardener. He does the :driving: :driving: bit! Next life, I'm coming back as a man. Or a cat. Something that sleeps all day and gets fed and constant attention.
