Indicator Mod

A couple of days ago I seen a photo of a guy in Scotland who had carried out the indicator mod i.e. removing most if not all of the perspex roundel.

I'm sure I seen a thread about this under the title of "USA indicator mod" but I can't find it.

Anyone on here did this mod or find any info on it?
