Indicator flash when lock

So recently i've noticed my indicators don't flash when i lock the car anymore.
I'm hoping i'm not just imagining it but i'm pretty certain that they used to always flash when i'd lock the car from the remote (however they don't flash when you unlock). I was playing about with the key a few weeks ago trying to get see if i could open/close the roof with the remote (which i can't) and realised you can open it with the key in the lock and holding it turned.

Anyway, now my indicators don't flash when i lock anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this?
 
I've done similar things when experimenting with the key. Someone may have an easier fix... I disconnected the battery and everything went back to normal.I don't remember exactly, but I probably disconnected it, left it for a couple hours and then hooked it up when I needed to use the car again - point being, it would have been past the 20 minute electrical shutdown period. Only pain with that is having to reset the clock and losing the OBC data.
 
Mine dont flash when i unlock

But if i unlock and i open a door and close it it will flash when locking. (So if unlock, then lock without opening anything it wont flash)

cheers, i'll go disconnect the battery now and connect it up again in half an hour
