Indicator Badges

Is it possible to replace these without having to buy a whole new indicator?

I've been looking but I can't find any.

Thanks

Yes you can, they can be a PITA to seperate but a bit of patience and care and you can get them off, if memory serves they stuck on with 3m tape and they have a couple of small locating pins so take care not break them. You can buy the badges from various vendors on fleabay.

EDIT, I replaced mine with CF ones but I think I had to buy boot badges as they were the same size, can't remember exactly but a quick measure up will tell you, I stuck my CF ones on with silicone.

Thanks I didn't realise they where the same as the boot badges. I've found some on ebay that look good. I think I'll go for Black (Not carbon) rather than the blue. As the blue stands out abit on the grey car.

I found these do they look like the correct ones?

Yes - right size, you just need to cut the prongs off the back, file down and stick on with 3M tape.

Do one at a time to make sure you don't stick one on upside down like I did

I got mine from Ian Clifton (as have a few other on this forum). His email is [email protected]. Mine were CF, but he does them in standard roundels too.... top quality too!

Me too - and he will do OEM type badges with the locating holes on the back, which makes it easier.

Thanks all. Badges arrived from Ian C yesterday there fitted and looking good. I'll do the bonet and boot next month. I want a matt black grill aswell now.

Some c/f wheel centres too?

They'll get done last Ias I only got new ones 6 months ago. There just black rather than c/f. I'm not a fan of carbon fiber.

Also for anybody else doing this I separated them pretty easily by pushing a stanley blade in to the gap between the badge and the indator several times. This weakened the stick tape that holds it on. After a minuet or so the badge came off with out any arguement.
