Imola red Z4M coupe E86.

After much deliberation and procrastination, I've decided I need another Z4.....So my next car purchase will be an E86 Imola Red Z4M coupe, but I am in no rush.

I am very flexible on spec and interior colour (although ideally I would prefer one without navigation, but it's presence is not a deal breaker).

I am not flexible on exterior colour...Red coupe's only please (the heart wants what the heart wants!).

I will not consider cars that have previously been written off & repaired. It's going to be a keeper, so I would rather pay a little more.

The lower the mileage, the better and the better the maintenance record, the better. That said, I would consider cheaper well maintained coupes with some miles, so long as that is reflected in the price.

I'd like it as standard as possible, although ones with subtle or reversible modifications will be considered.

My budget depends on the car in question, but I am not likely in the market for top end examples with <5'000 miles from new.

So please, if anyone is considering parting with their Imola Red Z4M coupe, please let me know. I am based in the West Midlands, but more than willing to travel whatever distance to see the right car.

All the best and happy motoring!

Of course I’m biased but a good choice 😉

Btw I’ve just seen that Becky Evans has just posted a great review of the Z4m on You tube in an Imola, well worth a watch

Saw that, it got me off the fence and posting this WTB!

Only 57 Imola Red Z4M coupes sold in the UK. I want one too!
I am aware they are low production numbers, but they do come up. You're welcome to have first refusal.... on any I don't want! LOL.

That's a terrific choice OP.

Imola Red would have been my first choice but with so few MCs in the UK budget limitations at the time meant I bought Silver Grey, but at least I do have Imola Red seats!

Good luck finding your keeper.

Thank you. I am in no rush, so happy to wait for the right car to come up. Budget isn't so much an issue as perhaps agreeing on the right cars valuation, but that is the same with all things.

Has anyone viewed the car at Sarah Cox cars? It's been for sale for ages...

I saw that one being advertised and I could be really tempted if it was just a little cheaper. That is not to say the valuation is unfair, just that it is not quite the "bargain" that might tempt me away from my hope to find a lower mileage example. I'd rather pay a little extra if the opportunity arises to get a lower mileage example.

I'd also be interested if anyone has been to see it in the flesh as you're right it seems like it has been advertised for sale for a long while.

Was just about to say that, good to see the car getting some love, and potentially by a younger auduence

Does anyone know this car? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202106093667048

Weirdly it wasn't showing up in my search, but has been listed since June 2021....

Hello Pete

How did you find the dealer CS auto elite? I was thinking of viewing the SE they have for sale but it’s a 4hr drive from here and although the guy I spoke to made all the right noises about the car I’m a bit sceptical of dealers. Alas I don’t have the cash for the M!

Apologies Dan, for hijacking your thread a little. I don’t have access to be able to PM yet. Tell me to bog off if I’m treading on your toes.

All the best, Ady.

No worries (it keeps my thread at the top), and good luck in your search!
