beautiful car but you could buy house for that money :D

Only up north (or Wales).

Dunno, I could have quite a nice house down here for that. I'm not greedy :D

But I hate that interior, sorry. I'd need the black and red Alpina version thanks.

This car really splits opinion though - bit like breadvans :D

I think the Z8 is a work of art , the interiors are awesome I love the Z8 alpina interior, , I seem to remember on Top Gear the handling was a bit suspect , I think they will only go up in value ,but then again I remember the last classic car crash a good few years ago , the current upward rise in prices will end one day , maybe in a dramatic fashion as it did last time ,people spent 10 s of millions on buggatis and ferraris , only for the price to crash and panic to set in ,But the Z8 is stunning, :sweetheart:

They just look sooo good!
Mind you from what I have read they don't drive as well as the looks would suggest.
Still if I win EuroMillions tonight maybe I'll find out for myself!

If you were in the US you'd be spoilt for choice - someone on the Alpina forums posted this

Five BMW Alpina Z8 Roadster V8s For Sale at a single dealership in the US

You can pick from two black on black models, one with a black exterior and crème interior, a black on red and a silver on black with their mileage varying from 2,754 miles to 9,745 miles.

Prices range from $359,900 to $378,000, which is pretty amazing if you stop to think about when the car was sold in the States during the 2003MY it had a starting of $137,595.

I've never understood the fascination for these at all. I think they're blooming ugly as sin and a crass reinvention of a genuine classic BMW. A bit like when VW brought back the Beetle a few years ago.

Yuck  I really dont care for these either

I'm with you there jamesfirefighter, the Z8 is a beautiful car (saw one at Silverstone last year) but the Alpina version is gorgeous. At that price I will just have to be content with staring at the wheels on my Zed & dreaming.

Regardless of how much they are asking for it why is it set at such an odd price, as in not ending in straight 0's or 995?
