If you had to, and had £30K to spend, what would you chose?

Got £10K to add to my car, and as mine is coming up to 46K miles....I need to change in the spring. If there was a low miles Sepang Coupe, I'd be all over it, but I have always had a soft spot for the CLS....and the Merc looks ok....just don't fancy swapping the 35i for a newer smaller engined model, and don't want the huge depreciation anymore

The coupé - mainly as I don't get on with roadsters, and if I simply had to choose a Merc, then I'd go with a 4-door model.

The SL will hold its value better and looks better in my opinion, but obvious lack of practicality. Theyre both nice motors..

SLK has good spec, and a 250

Mercedes-Benz SLK 250 AMG SPORT EDITION

Year/Reg:2011 (61)
Mileage:3,211
2 Doors, Automatic, Roadster, Petrol, 3,211 miles, Black, 1 Owner. SLK250 Blue Efficiency, 7G Tronic Plus 7 Speed AMG Sport Pack inc 18" 5 Spoke AMG Alloy Wheels, AMG Bodystyling, Sports Suspension, COMAND Online inc HDD Satellite Navigation System, Media Interface, HDD Music Register, CD Player, Heated Seats, Parktronic Front & Rear etc etc etc

CLS for me if I could only have one car.. Having driven the slk which IMHO was awful.

Remember depreciation is only depreciation when you sell. Keep hold of the e89...

Wouldn't chose either given my recent experience with customer service from Merc.

Good luck though!

SLK definitely,i wish i had waited for it to be launched rather than buying my Z4 in hindsight

Moneypit, I said 30K for a car, not 30K for petrol!!
pmsl.
A sub £30k Bentley is easily tempting. . . . a £30k annual petrol bill is guaranteed. :D

I need to marry a rich arab..... (not that I've met a poor one!)
