If you had a cash offer today would you sell?

We should start a new thread, same question to all the MC owners. :poke:

Because...., I certainly don't know what I'd replace it with.
If the offer was good enough then you simply replace it with another Z4M and pocket the change

In a word, yes.

Mainly because I never bought it with the intention of keeping it more than a year and I think I'm going to loose quite a bit of money on it. If someone offered me cash within £500 of the £6500 that I paid I'd probably take it.

Not sure what I'd replace it with though. I hate to say it but I'd probably go for something with a roof as owning a roadster has really brought to my attention just how depressing the weather in this country is :(

Interesting question and as most have said to whatever extent if the price is right then 'yes'. First problem is the realistic price even with premium wouldn't reflect the value of the car to me (book say £6k, value say £10k to me).
Next is I've owned mine 5 years, developed it to exactly what I want and have no idea what I'd then replace it with.
The obvious answer is an ///M, but I gain so little for a probably a £10k cash input and double the running costs.

Reality therefore becomes a 'no'.

same boat as you, thinking is it best to sell now or not??

I bought mine 5 years ago thinking it would be a 2-3 year car- now I will keep it forever, but may buy an e60 as an everyday car and keep the z as a fun and sun rather tahn everyday.

I did :)

End of the day it's a car. However, I would've have sold it if I didn't need to because - like cj - I'd struggle to think of a better replacement.

Doubt it for some time. My M is worth probably 17k compared to the replacement I want which would be 90k.

I would not want to swap one of the best M's that exist for an expensive second hand different make which might have all sorts of issues.
