If i wanted to paint my filler neck-

Hi all - if I wanted to go over the top and paint the corroded part of my petrol filler neck what would be the nearest colour to what it is now?-cheers
 
Don't think it's an effective solution, Andy. Petrol isn't kind to paint....
Have you tried just cleaning off the corrosion - some autosol and a microfibre?
 
Surely the mild surface corrosion isn't anything to worry about though Andy? I care a lot about my car, and I'm a worrier but I have the same on mine and I"ve only ever thought about it once when I went to take a pic for you :oops:

Yeah think you are right mate-I will give it a go.

I think we might both win for a lack of detailing in this area :grin::grin:

I'll give polish a go for you tomorrow on mine and see if it makes it better and post after.

What have you done?!!! Andy hadn't even looked under there yet - he's probably crying himself to sleep right now. :cry:
