i8 Key Fob

Noticed this on one if the releases, it looks like such a good gadget!! Imagine losing it! Ha

Looks like a pointless gimmick to me, sorry. And a few hundred quid to replace at least. An app on your phone to 'talk' to the car is of more useful and convenient as you have it in your hand much more often. Why dig around in pockets or a bag to fish out a car key ? When you're in the car all the information is available anyway. Next they'll be turning it into a phone :roll:
 
Pretty cool but agree with Bing that a phone-based solution would be more elegant.

I think it looks great, I'd be pretty miffed if it was like the standard keyfobs.

I doubt cost of replacement would be an issue for those that can afford it.
