I really do!
I just want to bury my fist in his stupid fat face everytime one of his videos pops up in my youtube feed!

I'm actually quite placid and easygoing most of the time but I can't help clicking on his videos out of curiosity cos the lucky grown-up-baby b@stard gets to sample some of the most insane automotive exotica on the planet, then becoming enraged with basic primeordial jealousy!

Jealously is such a cruel thing. I don't mind him to be honest although I much prefer Mr JWW for his car reviews. I think these people have had a silver spoon start in life but good luck to them. There's a couple of them on YouTube, Schmee, jww, Seb Delaney and Seen Through Glass and it's obvious they have rich parents that have given them a leg up in life.

Jealousy is a strange emotion, although I'm sure you'd all enjoy it if the shoe was on the other foot!

He apparently owns some clothing brand but mum and dad own a house overlooking Monaco, the comments can be cruel and quite amusing at times. Nice looking Lotus though.

The money these guys are earning off their channels now (through ad revenue share) is crazy......they'll all be taking at least £200k a year from YouTube alone... :cry:

Anyway, kof, yer- jww, seenthroughglass, seb delanney, paul from supercars of london, itswhitenoise, shmee the vague aloof outsider, quite a little clique theyve got going on there as seb delanneys vid visiting holland and then having supercar owners at his mummy and daddy's place in monaco is testament to. Spoilt, over-privileged, lucky, annoying b@stards. Lol!

Met Shmee once. Annoyingly he was very sound and seemed to have a lot of time for people, even though he's clearly quite a driven (arf arf!) individual. I think he actually put in a fair few hard years into his own businesses and then the city IT scene to earn his money, although I have no idea what help he got along the way.

Pretty fed up of all the supercar blogs these days, although fair play to the guys that actually drive these cars and share vids about them. I'm mostly watching Petrolicious at the moment.

shmee is the worst.
The only 'good' review he made is this one from the Donkervoort D8 GTO RS
Not that its a good review, but its the only one on youtube :lol:

shmee is imho pretty much on par with 'vehicle virgins'.

I wonder which car reviewers here are generally liked and disliked. (I'd like to see some like-dislike lists :wink: )

It recently dropped a lot. Usually if you get around 3-4 mill views a month you earn around 3k or so.. say 1k/mil.

Pewdiepie is the top YouTuber and earns around 10mil a year from YouTube alone.

It's hard work, I know, but it's a job I'd love having haha. My life is too boring to film tho.

Shmee earned more from previous businesses etc I think?

If I look at shmee statistics its:
978.295 abonnees • 377.367.202 views

But if I look at carthrottles statistics its:
1.578.721 abonnees • 203.956.167 views

Roughly in the same ballpark, but the carthrottle midget drives an old e36 m3 and before that a knackered mx5 where as shmee drives a ferrari ff and a mclaren etc etc, so his money must have come from something else other than youtube views I think.

pewdepie is indeed in another ballpark (although I never watch his vids.... boring):

Biggest loser on youtube is probably ray william johnson, once the most popular youtuber, now completely gone to do other endeavors (I cant imagine very succesful)

well, in one of his videos he drones on about how he can 'finance his fleet' via credit, finance, balloon payments etc. i couldn't stick to the end through sheer boredom but i got the idea that he does it all via credit and selling before taking major depreciation into account.
i can see him selling ice creams on the end of brighton pier in a few years time though.....with that same stupid grin: 'hi guys, i'm shmee. would you like a flake in that cone?'
