Do they do a roadster version... :D

I wouldn't use the word stealth and GT3 in same sentence.
A bit boy-racer for my tastes (or as they say in the US - the rather non-politically correct 'ricey')

Still is a fab looking car, and I would probably have one in some kind of silver and pearlescent dark red combination...if I got into track racing. I assume it needs the mods to properly handle the power delivery.

For now, I shall stick with the s35is. When I get enough money to go to racing driver school, I shall see.

haha, i'm suprised more people havent jumped on the rice band wagon considering that it has huuuuge wheels, a lardy bodykit that is all out of proportion, huge picnic table spoiler etc. i bet if it was someones home project rather than official bmw everyone would of condemned it as being s**t

although having said all of that, it reminds me a little of my old rx7 tt

Seriously? It's a racing car, engineered for racing and not road use. The arches are wider to accommodate a wider track, not for looks. The aero package is for downforce, the massive wheels to allow bigger brakes, and the CF to bring down the weight.

Nothing to do with it being 'OEM BMW'.... on a racing car all that stuff has a purpose, on a road car.....hmmm.

yeah seriously. just cos its engineered as a race car doesnt suddenly make it beautiful or great regardless of how it is engineered for purpose. its not exactly great at what it does to justify its price tag either for 60k a skyline gtr can get the job done quicker as i am sure most supercars can too. so for me it is neither beautiful or a great race car, well not until it has broken a record or two

You obviously know bugger all about motor racing and I really cant be bothered explaining why, enough has been said already.

Love the fact you think a 60k standard skyline would "get the job done quicker" nice qualified statement there!
Do you know what a race prepped skyline costs..?

As for not being successful, last years model on which this has been subtly tweaked from, in it's debut year being run by a single team managed to finish 3rd place overall for the European 2010 GT3 Championship! Against teams running established cars like the 911 / DB9 / Corvette / R8 / Gallardo / 458. That's pretty damn good but to then head onto win the Dubai 24hr race in Jan 2011 says the car is pretty damn good and obviously has a lot more to give too!

I doubt if anyone here would drive it on the road.

There are enough who have trouble taking out there 'normal' Zed unless its perfect weather :poke:

Although you would be able to have one hell of a track day..... :driving:

STILL WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!
