So a few weeks ago I posted saying how I couldn't believe how good my Zed had been over the year I'd had it and was surprised that it hadn't needed any oil or coolant in that time.
I knew it was asking for trouble; a week ago a white van man reversed 20 yds across a car park straight into my passenger side and is now trying to claim that somehow I crabbed sideways an impaled my car on the back of his shed of a van writing it off in the process.
Then this morning I'm on the inside on a roundabout when another van cuts across me and rips the front of my car off.
Both drivers said exactly the same thing; 'I just didn't see you in such a low car'

So p*ssed off right now.
 
Bad news indeed, but as a positive it still does not use oil or coolant :)
 
Thats terrible news i feel for your pain. Fingers crossed it will be sorted and but back the way it was. On the flip side i bet you had stone chips hopeful they will get sorted. Just trying to find a positive....
 
I feel your pain Georgio as my zed was rear ended a few weeks ago by white van man :cry: :thumbsdown:

Sometimes it just feels as though Z4's have a huge 'hit me' target painted on them; I was wondering why I saw another Z4 the other day with all his lights on,fogs the lot in brilliant sunshine. Now I understand.
And yes hopefully as a positive the old girl will still be as good on oil and coolant after being fixed... :roll:

@Swiftly and Stuart, hope everyone was ok, at the end of the day cars can be fixed, people are more fragile

Sorry to hear about this.

In my first few weeks of ownership I was cut up/ nearly hit on several occasions on dual carriageways. After realising the height of the car makes it more difficult to spot I always drive with my lights on, but no doubt it's in some part due to people not being as aware/ alert as they might be of course.

OP,

Sorry to hear about the bump, hope you get it fixed without issue.
 
Result, flatbed lorry man has finally admitted full responsibility so the front end damage is being fixed asap.
White van man is still disputing his reversing into me up a one way street claim so I've had a crash engineer survey the damage for the insurers and his report states a straight back impact into my stationary car, so hopefully once his insurers have digested that I should get a result there as well.
What a carry on honestly, if I was stupid enough to reverse back into someone I would own up out of guilt, but then I guess some white van drivers are a different breed... :roll:
