It has only ever been mentioned on facebook as far as I know, then people spread the word on many a forum.
don't forget this is not a Z forum meet but a sports car meet in general.

my fine mate, how can i remember when i didnt know ? i accept a general meet might be more varied, but im not sure as i have only been twice and both times were fun, i had no idea they were designated " official" presumably the poor bastards that are having track days that friday sat and sunday will be cast into hell for turning up on a non official day and the breakfasts will be a spurned as they aint official breakfasts. i could do with the queue for breakfast not being out the door and down the car park though :rofl:

When I use the word Offical !!!!!!! I use the term loosely, Offical as in the same guy on Facebook that started them :rofl:

no mate , my suggestion has nothing to do with anything thats going on on the 10th, why would i ask if anybody was going on the 10th when i was asking about the 3rd ?? hmmm ??

I created a post and asked a question, i had no idea about any meeting arranged by a bloke on facebook, am i now expected to scour all on line media platforms in case some bloke decides he is doing something a week later ? do you feel I should check his diary before making any suggestions or asking any questions here ?
Do you feel that i might be in any way be pissed off ?
 
For starters change your attitude!!

Secondly your title of the post looks as if it’s the actual garage 39 meet which as you know is held every year during the winter months and is advertised on Facebook. The fact you are posting something else but could easily be read as you have the date wrong. As the dates are so close together it would be easier to change your title so forum members don’t get confused.

firstly - my attitude is fine - whilst yours seems arrogant - i had no idea there was a bloke organising a meet, otherwise i would not have made the post here, secondly - there is nothing official about it in any way. in what way is it official ? organised by Donington park ? no it isnt - its a gathering of people who stand around looking at each others cars and having a nice time, which is fine, but lets not carried away here shall we?
Im sorry if you think folk are so feeble minded they easily get confused and cant work out the difference between me innocently asking if anybody is going on this forum - and something organised on facebook -

i of course, would normally simply delete the post as i have no intention nor had any intention of causing an affray or confusing anybody, especially as the weather looks to be crap and i wont be going, but as your determined to be stupid about it i will of course leave it up simply to annoy you. now isnt this petty ? I think we are done here.. dont you ?
 
Well considering all the help and parts i've gave you i'm surprised with your childish attitude and comments. You know there was and is an official meet at Garage 39 as you attended it last year which is arranged by Ollie Browning on facebook who organises it with the venue. It isn't hard to find !! however many members including me browse over the meeting pages just to see whats coming up and put dates in our diary without reading all the comments. Your post would easily confuse members with a different date however leave this up, do i care NO because your only acting the same when we had the strut brace incident.

PS don't both asking for my help again and don't make plans for the 16th August !!!
