Husband got news of promotion today and with this comes company car..... which means getting rid of one of mine, as he currently drives my Peugeot and I of course my zed.
Sadly the Peugeot is two years younger, has half the mileage of the zed and is better in winter. Therefore the sensible choice would be to sell the zed :x

You should also weigh up that one is german engineered & the other is french  which in my mind removes the 2 year difference & mileage from your equation leaving just a set of winter tyres which you already have so your plan is flawed from the off
Peugeot V BMW  now let me think ????????

As Mr Wilks correctly points out I already have winters :D, but I never really got to test them out given the conditions we had. Husband is all for keeping the zed by the way, so he is not pushing me in either direction.
But the Zed does have some rust starting up on the bottom edge of the door which is a bit of a worry.
I am going to get my friend who also happens to be an RAC man to give both cars the once over, and give me an honest opinion ( regardless of praticality of each car ) as to which is the best option in terms of reliability/least likely repair costs. I have heard others says that a BMW's mileage can be halved when comparing to other makes, so maybe there is some truth in that !

Your first thought NDB should have been sell the Peugeot & the 2.0 Z then go for a 3.0 Z :driving:
+1 Get a newer Z or other fun car and sell both the present cars. Certainly don't keep the Pug where's the fun in that.

Current thoughts are sell both buy an E89, a convertible 3 series, or a convertible audi A4. This is in consultation with said RAC man, who thought Pug was worth keeping over Zed :(.

Tell hubby to get a practical car and chop both in for a newer z has to be the best for everyone.
You won't fit another car in the garage if you sell because you'll have to store your Ball there :D

Less of a depreciation hit on the Pug, and it's French. And pugly :|

Are you ignoring me mrs? :D

No, sorry just missed your post, I currently have a 5 year old going a bit bonkers after his first day back at school.
I got the Zed 'coz I want a roadster that would also be an all year round car, but then I never got to try out it's snow and ice abilities this winter, so I still don't know whether it is! How is the Porsche btw ? (Not that I can afford one of those!)

Husband wants a 'tricked out' sensible estate of some sort. Good point about the garage !
