I was wondering about that! When I had a few minutes over the weekend, I pulled the top cover off to get a better look, and looks like its not the cylinder valve cover gasket, but coming from above - is that the Servotronic motor that I've put the arrow on here?
Yes, that’s the one. The gasket sits behind it (circled) and the oil tends to trickle down the back and drip off that bolt. Your rocker cover gasket looks good. If the rocker cover gasket fails, you’ll notice oil running along the silver section toward the rear of the engine. It can be misleading, as it collects at the back, drips onto the downpipe and burns off. The first signs are usually an oil smell and some smoke.I was wondering about that!
