I fitted a Rieger rear diffuser today

The instructions were in German, but with a bit of help from Google translate, I managed to figure it out. Great fitting part, but certain steps in the fitting process were really fiddly to do. Anyone else flitted this to their Z M40i?

I think it massively improves the rear look over the stock gray one, but appreciate that is personal preference, etc.

Mm tempted. I've switched my car from blue to black and the grey does slightly annoy me. Might consider this myself.

Yeah the grey annoyed me too, as it doesn't match the car in anyway imo. I'm really pleased with the look of this replacement... Makes the back end stand out even more in my view. I'm thinking of getting the original one painted gloss black now, so if I ever want to put it back on, then at least the colour will look right for me.

I think it suits your colour scheme better than the original, though I prefer the shape and style of the original

Fair enough, I can understand that... The original is fairly understated (imo), but had it been gloss black from the factory, then I would have left it in place I think.

That looks a lot better, black suits indeed more to the car than the original dark grey or something.
Maybe an option to paint the rear part in glass black like the rest of the black parts.

Thanks and yeah I agree gloss black looks better than the original grey. I'm definitely thinking about getting the original part sprayed gloss black too now and then I can put it back on the car again, if I wanted to return it to a more stock look
