I'm supposed to be setting off for the National Meet in 6 hours or so and my driver's wing mirror has fallen out and smashed. Chances of finding one before I set off? Looking like zilch. :cry: Any suggestions more than welcome if anyone knows of anyone/somewhere that can help?
 
Eurocarparts? GSF Autoparts? Halfords?
Doubt you'll get one from a dealer today.

However, it's not a legal requirement to have one:

You could always buy a shitty cheap one from halfords, and bodge it on for the weekend?
A small mirror, double-sticky taped to the mirror holder will suffice no?
 
Many thanks for the suggestions Ian. Frantically checking local motor factors to see if any have one in stock. Not looking good so far though. :cry:
 
I've tried Halfords Ben, nothing doing. The only place I've found one in stock so far is at a motor factors in bloody Maldon and I'm in Lincoln. FML.
 
let me ring a few places here.. see if they've got any in stock.
if they do, I can grab one and meet you enroute (leaving about 3:30)

They close at 5:30pm so I need my Mrs to get home from work earlier so we can pick one up on the way to Preston tonight. It would help if she answered her chuffing phone. :headbang:

Wow! The power of the forum. That's amazing, thanks so much. What route are you taking when you leave later? I can try and intercept you? Failing that, I could buzz over to Nottingham now? We weren't supposed to be setting off from Lincoln until 6pm.
 
I'm was gonna go left from Notts mate, but I COULD go north instead via Chesterfield.
That said, if you've got the time, you can always come over to Notts and grab the part yourself?

I'm heading out on a company meeting (read that as jolly) till about 3:30, and once done, am picking up a passenger and would be heading out (so, I'd get the part), then get to Chesterfield for about 5pm?

actually, forgot I need to grab a tent aswell, so I'll probably be at Chesterfield for around 5:30! :thumbsup:
