I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES!

As I was driving one of my other vehicles...........not the Zed, I saw what I believe to be a Z4 (2004?) with an "Gun-Metal" peel or paint job, as I accelerated to get a better view I was horrified at the amount of dirt on this Zed, body and canvas top! Even though we enjoy summer like weather year round in Orlando, FL..............my only justification for this crime must be....... this Zed was just pulled out of long term stowage or found during an estate sale. I also noticed the Z minus the 4? Can anyone identify the year of this Zed? My apologies for putting a fellow Zed owner on blast, but there is a code we must all follow? :tumbleweed:

Could just be motorway miles? Mine gets completely filthy in winter on Monday just on the trip TO work, let alone returning. Don't have that much dust here so can't really comment dust wise. But sides look clean enough? Sides and wheels look pretty clean? Which would be unusual for a car that is neglected altogether? I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation!!

It's definitely a Z4. A pre-facelift (i.e. the version before yours) think they were about 2002-2006 ish?

Mine is like that every couple of weeks, the joys of work car park being near a dusty storage yard.

Good blast down with a jetwash and snowfoam seems to remove all the dust so fortunately it's easy to deal with!

As above just a dusty parking spot try parking near a Grass Track event looks a lot worse than this at the end of the day :o

I refused to allow my mate to take a pic of my Zed after it had been on a dusty camp site at Le Mans last year. It made the example in the pic look really sparkly. However fast I drove the dust didn't blow off!

It took me an age to get the dust out of all of the nooks and crannies as it was parked with the roof down at Saint Saturnin, which was just as dusty as Le Mans.
