That was nice of Mr FedEx :D

What kind of drop do you get with the Eibachs?

According to Eibach they should give a 10mm rear and 20mm front drop. I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform :)

FedEx paid me another visit today but with something a bit more devilish  The new ESS Tuning E-Flash OBD programmer had arrived when I got home 8)

Differing from the Direct Flash system this is ESS Tunings new platform and basically allows you to do all programming, software updates and diagnostic work (code reading and clearing) direct from your workstation. Definitely one for the tech freakz out there 8)

With some of the hardware mods I have planned I should be able to realise 400bhp soon :D I'll keep you updated on the install procedure and maybe prep a how to this weekend.

lol sorry I don't mean to be 'mean' but I have to grin at a post mentioning a stubby vs lowering spring kit and a 400hp remap ;)

Looks like you'll be having lots of fun after they're installed

Yeah on my 10 minute town drive home every day lol
I really need to make an effort to get on some BMW novice track days this year :driving:

Just been for a spin in a 535 with remap. wtf. 3rd pushing 110. 2nd to 3rd so flat and eager. I reckon its +400. Hes going to d the 1/4 time on track days in the next month or so. It was not as engaging it did not seem that fast until looking at the speedo and 110 at 7.5K.

Went for a spin in mine after and the 90 in 3rd seemed tame but it was much more twitchy with the back end starting to lift and twitch more fun. He never had driven an auto before or top down, and he was impressed with the ride and the smoothness. Its more of a racing position and feel, and even stock was very keen. He can now see the point of the auto and using the paddles, the gear change was very quick and he was impressed. he can now see why auto is the way to go. For me I would love to look at remap but then again.

Save your money on the remap. On a 3.0 NA engine the improvement will be marginal, remember the 535 has turbos so improvements are much more likely on that car.
