Completely new to all this, but thought I would attempt to post on here! Were looking for a 'midlife crisis 2 seater' (now the kids are a bit older!) and are looking for a 2.5l or 3.0l manual grey or black Z4. Looking to pay around £6500ish. we live in Essex/Suffolk border but willing to travel to find one! Are there any out there for sale?? Many thanks in advance!

Hi mate, I've only had my Z for 3 months (2.5) and don't get me wrong, I love it, but theres just always a thought in the back of my mind which says I should have held out for a 3.0. Obviously it depends on how important power is to you, but think about it first and maybe test drive a few and see what you think. Don't want you to be disappointed :)

Lovely car, but I don't think we could even stretch to the £7999 basic trim that you want. But it does look beautiful!
 
have a 2.5 ltr and for how I drive and the way I drive, is perfect and not for a minute regret not getting 3 ltr.

best advice that everybody would give you here is to try both and then decide for yourself, as we won't be driving it, but YOU will.
