I am here

Hello my Zed family, I've made a post last week called "To buy or not to buy," well, I'm now a proud owner of a Sapphire Black E85 3.0si in auto.

I actually have a few questions already;

1. Regarding the Bluetooth module in the car, I've managed to get it into pairing mode but nothing displays on my phone, I've refreshed many times with no luck :S

2. Any advice with cleaning headlights and adding UV protection?

3. I've already bought some new wheels (actually bought them a few days before the car) style 32, e38 version 8J and 9J, but have no idea what tyre sizes to get, currently stock suspension but will be getting coilovers in the new year. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ☺️ I love how HU51A_FU and jamie_z4 have had them set up... Those were my inspirations 😍

The car is such a joy to drive and I'm looking to stamp my own personality into it. I guess, expect me to ask many noob questions. I'm trying to learn and have a lot of catching up to do with cars.

Here are a couple of obligatory pictures:

Welcome to the forum with your lovely 3.0Si. :thumbsup:

Sadly I can't help with your Bluetooth question, but there are loads of headlight restoration kits around. I can't recommend one though as I just did mine (not on my Z4) with T-Cut!

Those wheels will sit much further out in the wheel-arches as E38 wheels have much different offsets to Z4 ones. Personally I'd be worried about rubbing, especially on the rears. The same size tyres as your MV2s ought to work, or you could go slightly wider but that increase the chance of rubbing. Have a look on here:- https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Nice zed and welcome to the forum. Style 32s are a terrific wheel, but you will struggle with those e38 offsets. 27mm further out at the front will almost certainly give you rubbing on the inner wheel arches, and a whopping 35mm extra at the rear for that Carlos Fandango look.

Thanks for the welcome and advice :D time for me to figure out my options for modifications :headbang:
I can sell you a nice set of negative spacers but they are on back order and expected on 1st April next year.

You've lost me with your hip lingo there. What is a negative spacer? :oops:

Turtle wax kit is the best I’ve found as the ceramic wipes do seem to add protection for a reasonable couple of winters after restoring the lenses. Other serums and protection liquids I’ve tried only seem to last a few months.

One kit will do two cars or the same car twice too, as it has two ceramic wipes in and one wipe does two headlights.
