Hydraulic steering conversion

Does anyone know of a person/place that could do this for me? It's way beyond my skillset but I'm not sure how much longer I can put up with the damn EPS

I assume then that adjustment has not worked for you?

Have a word with [ref]thecremeegg[/ref], he recently had a hydraulic conversion done and is Home Counties (Hants).

Need to play around a bit more with the ring adjustment but am very doubtful it will make the huge difference I need to feel safe beyond 60mph. Twitches around everywhere and difficult to keep in a straight line, miles different from my 1 series where I could litterally let go of the wheel and it wouldn't move.

Interesting. Wifey’s did that and 8mm of movement completely cured it. Guess they are all different.

I had the same issue, there wasn't enough adjustment in the ring to make the steering feel safe. Like Zedebee said, I've had it converted, I've sent you a PM!

There is a long thread about this with a theory about play in the steering rack causing problems. https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=100725&p=2028219#p2028219
