To Playalistic, Jonnyfive & of course Pawnsacrafice for giving up a good few hours of their time to help install my Intravee. Fantastic to have people willing to help others these days.

Couldn't have managed it without their help as was a bit of a nightmare due to a cable being trapped & hidden! However I can now strip the boot of the Z4C very well, apart from the injury about 2 minutes in.

Great to meet you guys & get faces to names; look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Matt

id second that - have had some invaluable online help from all these guys - and many others over the last few months! cheers

Thats what it's all about, so nice to be part of a loveing family, that cares for each other, and there zeds. Drive on topless, :D

this is what i like about this forum, there are some very knowledgable and helpful people

edit: Pawnsacrifice is very helpful, helped me with the install of my parrot

Glad we all got there in the end. Plus we now have our own private joke: "how many Z4 owners does it take to fit an intravee?" albeit with a pretty lame punchline "4". :driving:

mj2k, no worries Matt, happy to have been able to help... luckily my part was little more than spanner monkey  Well, I know you boys don't like getting your hands dirty.

playalistic, you make us sound a little Dad's Army! Probably not far off. And I was on the subs bench for day 1!

Taz x, firstly, no problem - lest we forget your help with the DRL project and understanding basic electronics, happy to have been able to return the favour.

As for the workshops meets - there was talk of this before, when those rent a ramp garages started springing up. Thankfully there are quite a few of us around here so we tend to meet up when something needs doing, I'm in the B team at the moment, need to earn my stripes.

@Pawnsacrafice, you don't do yourself justice as spanner monkey.

Happy to get dirty but was sporting life threatening injuries to my hand after my car bit me!

i wouldn't mind someone helping get my cruise working, 03 car should be plug and play but it's never fully worked.

done everything but I don't have a cable and software to see if it's throwing up a fault.

pretty happy with a spanner though if needed for other bits and bobs, brakes, oil changes, etc
