HUGE thanks to Jembo :-)

...who 'worked from home' today just to help me get 4 new non-RFT boots for my Z at a great price from Costco - even Mrs Bing noticed the ride quality improvement on the way home

We did however spend another £150 on 'stuff', and discovered that my employer makes me eligible for my own card... Which has given the other half what can only be described as Potentially Ruinous Ideas about visiting again with her own card and a friend to egg her on :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Thanks again Jembo 8)

Just need you two to get your act together and get a Kent meet going. :poke:

Yup, it's been talked about. I'll catch up with Jem at Silverstone.

Great stuff, welcome to a world of comfort

I have been driving down the really bumpy roads near me and the difference is very noticable. What makes it even more noticable is the reduction in the number of squeaks & rattles. Loving it - going for an early morning hoon to give them a scrub if the weather is ok

What size tyres are they?

Dont suppose anyone had a price list of costco tyres...

I had the same tyres fitted as Bing today, and I can only say that I drove away in a different car, the way the car drives is just difficult to explain, but it's so much better, no skitting about, it feels like someone switched on magnets on the bottom of each tyre, so the car is just connected to the tarmac all the time, there should be a sticky explaining how good the car is when not on run flats.

As Bing has said the ride is also much smoother, and much much quieter.

Here are my new tyres on my newly refurbished wheels.

I paid a total of £560.60 for Michelin Pilot Sport 3 Tyres, 2 x 225 x 40 x18, 2 x 255 x 35 x 18, the offer ended today as far as know, but you could try calling them as I know that as long as the order goes in before the end of the offer time they will still honour it.

 I've been hooning about on mine since yesterday just because they feel so great - used almost half a tank in 24hrs  Total convert here, glad you are as pleased as me !

used almost half a tank in 24hrs

I haven't had much time today as they were only fitted this afternoon, but I can say I am so looking forward to the Meet in the Lakes next week.

They don't publish their prices, which to be fair aren't that great unless they have one of their 20% off offers.

I have Michelin PS2 ZP's on my Z...and yes they are RFT's. One would never think they were though because the ride is amazing. :)

Non-rft's are the way to go. one of the best changes u can make to ur z4(non m and alpinas, obviously).

All u guys need to do now is buy a couple of cans* of Holts tyreweld from Asda, and a Ring Air Compressor(cheap but good),and ur all covered if u get a puncture :D

*2 cans are needed for 18inch tyres and above,so i was informed(cheapest at asda)

I have the Holts stuff and a Michelin compressor that I have had for years but only ever used for blowing up Swiss balls... Don't ask :D

Where does one get a Ring air compressor ? Also Asda ?

I have a Ring compressor already, very good, just set the psi and off it goes, switching itself off when the right pressure is reached.
